Sini Haverinen from Visual Design Finland (VDF) Oy was responsible for the interior and space design of Isännöintiverkko’s customer service and office locations. Isännöintiverkko opened new, modern, and stylish premises in Kivenlahti, Espoo. The Lauttasaari and Kirkkonummi branches were also completed at the same time. Isännöintiverkko is one of the largest property management offices in the Helsinki metropolitan area, employing over 60 motivated professionals. The company serves more than 300 housing and property management companies.

Iiro Mähönen, the CEO of Isännöintiverkko, recalls being impressed by the office premises of IT company Javerdel and requested the contact information of the designer, Sini Haverinen from VDF. “We had already done some planning for new office spaces ourselves, but it quickly became apparent that a professional is a professional – let’s focus on the property management business,” Mähönen laughs as he recalls the first design visit with Sini in the new, empty premises.

“Our previous premises were under threat of demolition, so we had to find new space. Sini Haverinen visited various locations with us. It was good to have the designer involved in the assessment phase. We could evaluate the functionality of each space before making a decision, which was a great help,” Mähönen explains the early stages of the design project.

“The designer had such amazing ideas, especially regarding lighting and space utilization, that we would have never come up with them ourselves. I am still delighted by the lighting and armchairs on a daily basis,” Mähönen rejoices over the new and fresh office premises.

Isännöintiverkko aims to be a modern and customer-centric property management office. Additionally, Isännöintiverkko strives to be the best employer in its field, ensuring that its employees enjoy their work and are motivated to fulfill the company’s mission.

“We want our customers and employees to encounter an atypical, modern, and fresh environment when they walk through Isännöintiverkko’s door. We want to be a different kind of property management office,” Mähönen summarizes the company’s aspirations. The new office spaces have received positive feedback across the board.

In addition to the design, VDF also provided the new furniture. According to Mähönen, this significantly reduced Isännöintiverkko’s workload. “Instead of browsing through catalogs, we received ready-made proposals that made progress easy. We were able to test several models of office chairs, allowing each person to choose their favorite. This was a really good addition.”

Isännöintiverkko is a constantly evolving property management office, and in that regard, Mähönen emphasizes the best aspect of the collaboration: “Sini had the ability to bring something different and atypical to our spaces while maintaining good functionality. I recommend Sini Haverinen and VDF to anyone considering renovating their office premises.”
